In a recent independent customer survey of over 100 furniture stores in
the Baltimore/Washington area,
Indoor Furniture
received the highest overall rating. Categories rated included
price, quality, service, selection, availability and knowledgeable
sales staff.
We will not mark our prices up
so we can advertise an erroneous 50% off sale.
We have been in business over 27 years by the best
advertising; word-of-mouth from smart, satisfied
customers. As a matter of fact, we don't
advertise very often, it's too expensive and you
know who ends up paying for that added cost of doing
business.
And then there's our warehouse
showroom: it's huge (30,000 sq. ft.) but we've
eliminated the frills and costly accessories.
We may not look as sharp as some of our over
decorated counterparts but we know our customers
come to Indoor to look at furniture, not vases, not
knick knacks, just furniture. When our
customers leave our store after making a purchase,
they know they just bought a quality piece of
furniture for the best price on the East Coast.
Our furniture is
timeless and our commitment to honest retailing is
the best advertisement we can provide. We may
have a sale now and then but it's not because we
rolled back our already bare bones pricing, it's
either because we have floor models to clear from
our showroom or it's because we negotiated a deeper
discount from our suppliers which we in turn have
passed on to you.
When all is said
and done, you can buy furniture somewhere else at
50% off and the Indoor price will still be less, we
just avoid the silly pricing game, our customers are
too smart to fall for it!

•We started our business
specializing
in Danish Furniture because of
the quality, design and functionality that Danish cabinet makers
have developed. Using that as a base from which to operate, we
expanded our selection to include furniture from all over the world
and the USA.
•We
have been in business since 1982. Our business was started by
a group of seasoned furniture retailers who saw an opportunity to
offer the area a new concept in furniture: presenting the customer
with a large selection in a warehouse/showroom combination,
having stock available for immediate delivery (or pick-up) and
finally, the most important, having the
absolute, lowest prices.

cutting out high overhead costs such as expensive catalogues, high-rent retail
space and costly advertising we are able to do what many other
retailers cannot. By trimming down how much it costs us
to operate our business, we can pass these substantial savings onto
you. You'll tell your family and friends and we all share in
the benefit. •Our furniture suppliers are our business partners. They are as
concerned about our customer's needs as we are. They work with
us to provide special order capability without any up charge for the
service. We frequently receive special purchase offers which
enable us to provide you with even more savings. |

the best selection of Scandinavian furniture on the East
coast. Understanding that every home is unique, we
want you to have access to as many furniture choices as possible.
We also try to stock, for immediate delivery as much of our
selection as possible.
•Shopping for furniture should not be a stressful experience.
Many people will shy away from furniture shopping if they know a
salesperson is ready to pounce on them as soon as they walk in the
door. We will never pressure our customers. We
want them to browse, take their time and when they're ready we're
happy to help them in any way.
•We have a great team at Indoor; from
our sales staff to our delivery and installation crew, we pride ourselves
in the quality of the product we sell, the quality of the service we
provide and our high level of skill and knowledge. Do you have

guarantee we will offer you the best price we possibly can and still run a
profitable business. We're smart enough to do it with much lower
margins; passing the savings on to you. Our fair price, when used in
comparison shopping is for like items.
We do not meet prices of items that fall into any of
the following categories:

discontinued items that are no longer current or are no longer
available.

classified ads or auctions (open or closed),
regardless of whether the merchandise is new or used.

offers outside of our standard delivery area

offers on the internet that are on vendors do not ship
list, meaning that your order will be taken but probably never delivered.
